2009; In A Nutshell

This is my tribute to 2009. Although it's not completely over yet, I just want to give you a little synopsis of how everything went. I'll try to keep this as short as possible.

The Infamous Bullet Points
  • I got into lots of friendship fights. (way to start it off Dom...) I was having a lot of insecurity problems and it clashed with my friends opinions. Not just any regular friends, this happened with my best friends. A two-in-one friendship fight happened and I almost lost my two BFFs. It was so intense, I cried and burst a vein. It was THAT intense. Then I had more than one pickle with another. But no matter what the circumstance, we all learned was that we need to work things out. Once things were put in a better place, we set things aside and moved on.
  • School was sooo bittersweet this year! I have to say that there were a couple of extraordinary moments; Class of 09 graduation, KCA's, hang outs, and things of that sort. Then again, I had some crap experiences; getting dumped, finals, all-nighters, PHYSIO, and all that. But here's a motto I stole from a friend of mine, "No regrets."
  • Summer 2009 was AMAZING. I can't put into context how wonderfully great it was. From the infamous trips to Guppy's teahouse, to night crusing, to Disneyland, to boys, to biking to Eagle Rock as often as I could, to Serge and Nick, to the 95th INC Anniversary in San Jose <3,>
  • Although the air isn't completely clear with my dad, we're on better terms. Though there are times when we want to rip each others faces off, I understand my dad a little better now. We've actually sustained a few good conversations, no matter the randomosdity of it all.
  • My 17th Birthday; that was... WOW. I'm not even sure if I'm completely allowed to explain the nature of what happened between those two hazy/crazy nights but all I can say was, it was MIND-BLOWING.
  • I started to discover the wonderful world of BOYS. I mean, I've encountered my fair share of boys prior to this year but MAN, I was a little courageous. Sexy point for Dominique, ahahaha. Anyways, I had some sort of confidence boost. Trust me, I don't know the source of where it came from...
  • I've increased my DVD collection thanks to Bubba/Scott/Gabe. He has three names. (:
  • The Misadventures of Spring Break 2009. It was very fulfilling. It had it's share of wild unexpected turns that I'm not allowed to mention but, twas fun. I thank Jennifer Mae for helping.
  • Once more, I played Cupid. This time, for an unlikely source. Even though the relationship burst into flames due to unknown circumstances, I think I did my part well. I'm so good at this job. Trust me, my job isn't to keep them together. That's their job. My job was to simply start off the relationship with my bow and arrow. (:
  • I adore my dog, Sammy. He is the shoulder I go to when I have absolutely NO one to turn to.
  • My brother, Angelo. I'm such a horrible sister sometimes. I don't realize how hard he works at home. I take so much advantage of him. When I was his age, I was always out. If I was at home more often, he could be out of the house more. He's a brave little one but emotional. I'm glad that we're on solid foundation now. He can now confide in me with everything. I just hope I pull my end of the bargain and help him at home. (X
  • Locale of Los Angeles. We've gone through hell this year. However, with God's power, he's granting us a new house of worship. It's been 40 years of hoping for a brand new chapel. It's LA's turn to shine. They finally demolished the chapel this year. It was INCREDIBLY bittersweet but, nonetheless is was a blessing.
  • Binhi. It's been a tough road with the youth group this year. Our organization was put in a challenging position. It was one that challenged us in all way possible. Although it was hard, this again was a blessing from God. He gave me the office of President, something I've been dreaming of for so long. Now that my term is almost over, I wish my officers the best of luck.
  • INC Choir. I finally stepped down from the Children's Choir and joined the Adult's Junior Choir. Another amazing blessing from the Almighty. He showered me with so many blessing this year, it's really eye-opening.
  • Generoso; ew. (;
  • My faith. I honestly don't believe that I should have the write words to describe it. SO i'll leave it at that.
Honestly, there were waaay too many things this year to even jot down. So many blessed days and nights. Now, I'm here, just reminiscing. It's hard for me to let this year go but, change is good.

Til next year.

Phew?

This is a vent so, if you don't want to hear me whining, then I suggest you stop reading now.

I've noticed how much of an attention whore I can be. It might seem funny to you but, it's a horrible habit to me.

I've been in this state of jealously since the beginning of summer. This isn't jealously towards ONE thing, it's jealously towards everything that I happen to encounter. I hate it when my friends go out and I'm at home. I hate it when I don't get invited to little excursions. I hate it when it seems like I don't know anything. I hate it.

I have myself to blame though. I've been putting myself out of the game for a while now. There is only two reasons for this: either it's because I'm not allowed to go because of my parents OR it's because I just don't feel like going because I'm scared of getting in trouble. However, those are legit reasons right? Right. But then again, I feel like I need to be apart of the whole scene to feel good about myself.

Another thing, I get this high when I hang out with people. It's weird. Usually, I'm really awkward but when I feel like I'm around people and I'm connecting with them, then I go nuts.

Here's where my blog gets five times more confusing. I think I've been setting my standards really high. I've been planning on getting out of California, better yet, LA since I was in 10th grade. I'm scared that I won't get into any of the colleges I plan on applying to. What happens if I end up staying in LA? It's bittersweet leaving BUT, I need to grow up on my own! I think that the way I'm living right now, isn't how it's supposed to be. I can't stretch my arms without feeling like I'm being judged. I can't grow here. I can't be the person I want to be if I'm here. Honestly, I need a change of scenery, people, schedule, EVERYTHING. I'm sick of being here.

OKAY, I've confused you waaay too much. I'm just this big mess right now.

Decisions.

I've noticed that a lot of people have moved from Blogspot to Tumblr. I have to admit that I'm a convert but, I'll still have a secret affair with you for old times sake.

These are my cousins, I love every single one of them.
I loved Thanksgiving this year. <3

Since I last decided to blog, there has been a few changes to my daily routines.

1. I fought with Jordan for the 2nd Thanksgiving in a row. He's my bestfriend. I want to be there for him but, it feels like our friendship is slowly deteriorating in front of me. We don't hang out anymore, we're always clashing heads, we can't have a decent conversation with each other unless it's about church, and we just don't get along. He doesn't see all of this though, well, at least I don't think so. When I hang around school, it feels like I've been replaced by people I know. When we hit college this fall, I'm scared our line is gonna get cut off.... I hope everything patches up before graduation....

2. I've decided to take a break from my boy-related festivities for now. I used the excuse of "It's Me, Not You." However, it's not really an excuse because it's the truth. I've been in this quest for a relationship for quite a while now. What it all comes down to is, I'm just in this craving for attention from someone who cares for me. You probably think I'm a whore of some sort but, no matter. I've managed to surpass all the name calling because my friends give me enough of it as it is. Honestly though, I just didn't want to be the person to break someone's heart but I had to because well, I don't want to lie to myself either. I came out with some dignitiy. Although, this isn't over yet. There is still hope for this guy. Just saying. If I've swayed your mind a bit, I give you my deepest apologies. I didn't mean to confuse you. :p

3. I applied to college. From a list of 18, it narrowed down to 13, and then stripped to 10. I applied to UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, CSUN, SDSU, and UC San Diego. The ones I have yet to apply to are LONG shots. If I tell you, don't laugh, REALLY. They consist of Columbia University (shut up, I know your laughing), New York University (I know you're peeing in your pants by now), University of Massachusetts Amherst, Boston University, and Cornell University (I bet you fell off your chair, dying in laughter). I know, I should be a stand up comedian. Leave me alone. :p

4. I guess I've been a big lazy bitch lately. Senioritis abused me and left me in a corner. I feel really bad for messing up a lot of things within the last three weeks. There have been so many problems that I'm blamed for. Half of what I'm blamed for is most likely my fault anyways. I don't know what I'm doing now-a-days. I feel so retarded. I need some sort of wake-up call before I make the biggest mistake of my life. -______-

5. (The last of them all) My 18th Birthday is coming up. It's driving me nuts. I'm going to be FCKING 18. I'm going to be legal. I could legally by cigarettes (not that I will, ahahaha). It's friggen MIND-BOGGLING. I just turned 17. Wtf? I'm in the process of looking for a job to save my parents from having to pay for EVERYTHING during my last couple of months in high school. I'm in the process of arranging my 18th birthday party (which you're probably invited to). I'm in the process of applying to last of my colleges. Since when did life get so complicated? Trust me, that's a rhetorical question.

Ahh, I'm waiting for 2009 to finally go away. Until then,

fin.

Limits.

Today was one of the most emotionally traumatizing day this year. I was pushed to my limits today, in all ways possible. That's all you really need to know.

Donations?

Today, I gave a pint of blood, as well as about 100 other 17+ year olds who are over 110 pounds.

I want to redeem my Baskin Robin coupon already and I'm anticipating free tacos from Jack in the Box with all of my purchases until the end of the year. [:

Anyways, I never seem to complete a blog these days. That's all I really have to say now.

The Explanation of Stuff x Things x Nouns

Being a lame-o sauce, I wrote this during math. I got bored and figured, "HEY, WHY NOT?" So, please excuse the dorkiness of this poem. :p

The Explanation of Stuff X Nouns

So there’s this boy.
I swear, he ain’t no toy.
This isn’t a Pinochio glory
Because this boy is a real story.

Taking place in a parking lot,
is where the scene was shot.
Looking for some male fishes,
I hoped for hugs, not kisses

With a graceful stance,
I took a quick glance
At this tall hipster figure
I knew the LIKE would trigger.

Hormonal psalms
Created the sweaty palms.
Being dragged by my friend,
I was positive this wasn’t pretend.

Like the beginning of a play production,
I started with a fast introduction.
I took out my hand
To shake and form a friendship band.

And this is where the greater story commences,
With a friendship that will breach the fences.

If You're From Africa..

EVERY GIRL BY LIL' WAYNE.

It's effing sad how much I love his music. It's ever more sad how I crave to hear it sometimes. The other day, me and Danny got into this heated shpeal about why I should write The Beat about Lil Wayne instead of Kid Cudi. I agree with him when he says that Lil Wayne in amazing BUT, I'd rather write about Kid Cudi over Lil Wayne ANY DAY. For one, it's because Kid Cudi is indie underground and everyone ONLY knows that ONE song (Day & Nite). As for Lil Wayne, people in friggen China know who he is. So, Kid Cudi > Lil Wayne [;

Anyways, sorry for the neglect Blogspot. I've just been busy lately. Busy is good in my book. So you already know, COLLEGE is coming up like an effing disease. Blah blah blah, I have four more personal statements to write. Don't judge me for wanting to apply to so many places.

BESIDES all of that, I've been getting a little more confident on how things are starting to play out. I know that my blogs have been really bipolar. It's because of the events that have been happening to me. Some days are good and some days are bad, yanno? It just all depends on how things play out.

Next thing, It's effing NOVEMBER. Where the fck did the time go!?!?!? Sorry for abusing the word effing. Actually, that's not even a word. It's an abbreviation of another word turned... into another word? meh, I'm confusing myself.

Like I mentioned earlier, I love how THEE most random things keep happening to me. I don't know what I've done or what I've been doing but, if I keep things consistent, I'm positive that something GREAT is bound to to occur. Sorry if this is scrambling your mind. I don't mean to make all of this so confusing to understand.

Regarding yesterday: IT WAS AMAZZZING. California Science Center for the kiddies. Cruising down downtown LA. Chinatown dinnaaah. And then some some some, if yanno what I mean. Yesterday totally completed October. I've been pretty effing stressed if you haven't noticed. This day helped me realize that I have TO RELAX. All of the crazy ass antics was totally worth EVERYTHING. If I could, I'd replay yesterday all over again and again and maybe once more. [;

You should kind of get the idea that I'm in a great mode. HAPPICENTAGE is at a high of 95%. The other 5% well, you gotta find that out on your owwwn buddaaaay. [;

Hormones FTW?

This is merely a vent. So, feel free to just NOT read this.

So college apps are winding down. I've come to a decision, I'M LEAVING LA. All of the places where I'm considering going to are 2 hours or MORE away from LA. I even have colleges in the East Coast to consider. It's for my own good. As much as I want to stay here with the comforts of home and the convenience of everything, I don't want to be here anymore. I need a change of scenery. I need a change of everyday faces. I need to be somewhere where I can grow. I can't grow here. I'm being held back waaaay more than you think. I'm sick of not being able to do what I want for once. Some of you may disagree with me because I always seem busy doing something. I'm doing that on purpose to keep me from falling into this depressive state that I've been fighting for THEE longest time. I hate feeling like I'm being judged 24/7, especially here. It's expected from an environment like this but seriously, I'm starting to hate it. Honestly, I'm just being really bitter about the situations I'm in. However, I need to start fresh but, not completely to the point where I totally loose touch with my friends and family I have here. I still want to be able to come back, reunite with saying that "It's Been WAY Too Long!" THAT'S WHAT I WANT. If that doesn't happen, so help me Gawd.

Another thing, people think I'm being inconsiderate due to the fact that I want to move away. Some may say that it'll cost too much. That's where they're wrong. I've been one step ahead of this whole college thing for the last four months. I've got three scholarships in the bag. I've got a part time job lined up and another for the summer. How dare I leave the financial responsibilities on my parents? That's being way to selfish and I know better. SO for those who say that moving away is a bad idea, SUCK IT.

Speaking of responsibilities, I've put waaay too much responsibility on myself over the last year and a half. It's been so overwhelming that I don't know how to handle the work load I have anymore. For now though, I'm going to have to tough it through. If you think I regret doing any of this, you thought wrong. I don't regret anything that I've done because there has been a fair share of fun and excitement from it. It's just hard to balance my time.

Ahhh, it's okay. I only have a couple of months left before deciding where I'm going and what I'm doing.

Until then.

The Low Down

*SPOILERS. Just so you know.

Where The Wild Things Are; Great movie however, not to my full expectations. Giving everyone a warning now, this movie is NOT for kids. During the movie, I looked left and right every once in a while to find the children in the theater bored. What does that tell you?

Basically, the ten lines of the entire book can't be stretched out to make a 100 minute film. Others may object to my claim but the story is about a child who refuses to eat dinner, goes to an imaginary land, becomes king of the Wild Things, and you're done with it. In the movie, the Wild Things are given personalities. Fair. What is not fair is the types of personalities given. Some may argue that each of the characters represent a person in the Real World but, how do you get THAT from a 10 line story book? What is arguable is the reason why Max leaves. But, I'll leave that to your opinion.

Besides the comparison from the book to the movie, the movie did make numerous amounts of parallels from the Real World characters to the Wilds Things. It was envisioned incredibly well and Spike Jonze did a stupendous job by putting it all together. Nonetheless, the film maintains it's pride by beautifully portraying the landscapes along with the wonderful animation of the Wild Things. Humorous remarks and the randomness of it all kept the audience with kicks and giggles.

mhm. wish I actually wrote the article now. booo.

-BamBam; Thanks to him, we're actually getting a Senior DVD. I'm so glad he's doing it because he's done a superb job over the years.
-COLLEGE; Um, self-explanatory. Mr. Williams talked, other people talked, I fell asleep.
-GRADUATION: We voted for Cap&Gowns! Since our class colors are teal, gold, and white, we got to choose. The vote was unanimous and teal took the win.

Things to take note of:

Over Analyzing.

I hope that my assumptions are wrong. I hope that I don’t get shown up by reality. I hope that this isn’t true.

If it is true, I’ll be the wreck I was a year ago. That was horrible. This time, it might be horrendous.

The Perilous Adventures on Tuesday Afternoons.

-Yesterday's shenanigans went well. I figured awkward might be a world I should use but, that's not the case this time around. We went to the Americana to study for the SATs this Saturday and to our surprise, we actually did some work. To kill some time, we went to the Galleria. Since Melissa told me that there was a "wanna-be" cue booth there, we ended up taking some Cues! There were a lot more things we did but, I'm feeling lazy to type the rest of it up.
-I'm CRAVING so bad right now. It's not even funny. O.O
-I suppose it's bad but, I really, really like the Gospel Weed Song by Bizarre!
-domflowers.livejournal.com This should be the answers to all of my boy problems! trust me!
-Although it's a pretty bad movie for someone like me to watch but, I'm a bit infatuated with Harold and Kumar: Escape to Guantanamo Bay. I mean, besides the constant cursing, drug usage, sex antics, and nudity, it's a good movie. :P
-I'm almost finished with all of my personal statements and things of that nature. I'm surprised I'm actually on top of all of this. I thought I'd be behind but, I'm actually doing well. The only thing left to do is to FINALIZE my list of colleges. I think my maximum is 13. My minumum is 7. Hopefully I fallalong those lines within the next few weeks. [:
-Btw, I REALLY miss the summer. I loved every aspect of it, even my low days. Anyways, I never really got to do my annual summer recap but yet again, i'm too lazy to type it all up. I'll just do a picture blog some time soon.

I'm getting sleepy.

Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go Again.

I lost my flashdrive once more. This time, I doubt i'll be able to find it. I don't remember if I saw it at all this weekend. I know for a fact that I had it all of Friday, even when I went to Kevin's house for Anniversary Prep. Ahh, I wish I can find it.

Anyways, here comes the bullet points.
-LA Anniversary went well. However, I think I took my speech waaay too seriously. I freaked out the whole time prior to when I delivered it. After I gave my speech, I knew I over acted.
-SATs are coming up this Saturday. I'm positive I'll score above a 1900. I need to get over that.
-I've narrowed my college list. I'm at 13 possible schools. UGH. College apps for Cal States and UC's are due in less than two months. -____-
-I'm still pretty bipolar and slightly hormonal.
-I just might be able to go to Universal's Horror Nights on the 17th. I just hope I don't die.
-I noticed that the later I eat, the hungrier I am when I wake up in the morning.
-Now that I mention that, I'm pretty hungry.
-I highly dislike the fact that my weight keeps fluctuating. I need to consistently start working out. I biked about 6 miles yesterday. My thighs are burning right now.
-Senior year is being really bittersweet to me. I hope all goes well for the remainder of the month.

I don't know why I'm blogging about all of this.

this is all.

Cuz It's A Bittersweet Symphony.

Oh my lord, it's October.

I'm in a bit of a frenzy but, it's nowhere near fine.
The year is almost over and I haven't drawn the line.
(You can thank Scott for making me want to write poetry..)

Quick tid-bits should do it.
-My first article of the year is about frozen yogurt. I pitched the idea but, I had a strong doubt I was going to write about it. Now, I'm here talking about the cons of yogurt.
-I LOVE having cable in my room. If I had a mini-fridge, I don't think i'll ever need to leave my room again. [:
-"I'm not scared of lions, and tigers, and bears, but I'm scared of loving you." JAZMINE SULLIVAN! I've been on such a high on her music over the last two weeks! The song could be about heartbreak but, she'd have the ability to make it sound so damn beautiful!
-SENIOR QUOTES AND BABY PICTURES DUE TOMORROW! Ahh, this is the last picture i'll have in my high school yearbook. It's mind-boggling! To your surprise, I used poetry as my senior quote, CLICHE I know. I was aiming for "And none for Gretchen Weiners, bye." from Mean Girls but, I don't think people will get it. :p
-I find the conversations Amanda, Yolanda, and I have during Journalism NEEDS to be recorded one of these days! Amanda is... in her own little world half of the time but she's so relatable! Yolanda was too.... blunt for my liking but, she's really down to Earth! It's so bad how I'm so quick to judge but then again, at least I revoke the judgment with a positive remark a bit later. So, I'm good right? [:
-THEOPHILUS LONDON + CHRISTIAN RICH + LYKKE LI + MIIKE SNOW + AMANDA BLANK + THUNDERHEIST + PETER, BJORN, and JOHN = FCUKING EAR SEX! They're blowing my funking mind! It's not to be joked upon. It'll prove disastrous if you mess with my taste in music.
-I need to effing find tickets for BLINK 182!!
-I'm always in a good mood around this time of night.
-I hate how I've been so pissed off with the world lately. Actually, most of my negative emotions are towards a few people... very few, I really mean it. This is indirectly bashing you guys, just so you know. :p
-SOOO EXCITED for October!
  1. October 3; Eagle Rock Music Festival/ LA's 41st Anniversary
  2. October 10; SAT's/ BLINK 182
  3. October 17; Binhi Membership Meeting/ CWS' Museum Tour of the California Science Center/ HORROR NIGHTS AT UNIVERSAL!!!!!
  4. October 24; SoCal Volleyball Tourney!!!
  5. October 31; GEM: ONE MISSION
I'm soo sure I'm going to be doing waaay more than just that in between those Saturdays. So, get ready for descriptive blogs about my bipolar days. [:

Oh and btw, SHOTS by LMFAO is totally keeping me up as I finish up my hw tonight. <3

Why 'Ello Gov'nah?

-dom.

IN ENGLISH: I've decided to quit choir. My parents can't really handle it. It's too much commitment for me. Going to school an hour earlier, paying for my uniforms, practices twice a week (on our own time) which don't include zero period, fund raising that is a bit over priced, and a few other minor things. I want to stay in choir but then again, I can't because it's too much work for one activity. If I didn't have my work load, then I'd continue with choir. Also, if I had a car, I'd still be in choir. Oh well.

THE END.

Gloooooomy.

Not the weather.

I've been this emotional train wreck these last few days. Maybe it's just the unfortunate events that happened to befall me but, I don't think it's just that. Things just... don't feel right. If you've seen me over the last week or so, I've been really... quiet? I refuse to talk these days because if I do talk, I'm just gonna want to babble about my non-existent problems. Mhm. Maybe it's because I'm PMSing? UGH. I hate uncertainty! I hate feeling like there's a hole in me! I need clarity! I need something to feel right.

Besides that, we switched from Time Warner Cable to Direct TV. Big whoop? MHM. GREAT WHOOP. I have every movie channel Direct TV owns! WIN!

okay, this is gonna stay short.

ToTop Off My Day On A Bad Note:

As I was telling my dad NOT to remove the plug to my speakers, he does it anyways, which further aggravates me. SO THEN, as I was hooking up the plug for my speakers to my computer, I notice that my speakers don't work. I check to see what's wrong. I look at the plug and it's broken. I look at the outlet in my computer, the part of the plug is stuck in there. I can't remove it without totally breaking the speaker outlet. SO now, my only option of listening to music through my computer is ONLY using the speakers on my laptop. THANKS DAD for ruining my day. -____'-

Another thing, I really don't like the month of September. It's the month where my allergies are at it's peak. Whenever a season changes or is about to change, I get allergies. However, this time, it's different. The package comes with a headache and constant sneezing. I counted how many times I could sneeze in a row. I got up to 14. Amazing right? UGH. I hate how I can't really taste food. I hate how my ears are clogged. I hate how this is happening to me NOW! UGH.

I'm annoyed.

FIN.

EDIT.

;[ ;[;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ x 10000000.
Because I was such a stupid ass, my speakers on my laptop don't work PERIOD. ]:
I'm gonna cry. I hope that the sound outlet on a computer are replaceable because if they aren't, I'm going to DIE and that's in a literal sense. ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[ ;[;[ ;[;[ ;[

Being The Jerk That I Am,

I'm blasting my music to compete with the spanish service that is currently being held in my neighbor's garage. Their garage is right next to my room. FML.

-I have a feeling that being back at school is gonna make me gain a LOT of weight. I lost a couple of pounds over the summer due to my handy dandy bike but, I don't really have the time (and I guess, energy) to do so anymore. Meh..
-I really want the Beatles Rockband. I just wanted to get that out there.
-I just noticed how I haven't used my Holga yet. ]: I wanna start using it sometime soon before it starts collecting up dust (not that is already does.)
-I love girl days without confrontation between siblings. Whenever I hang out with certain people, I get a two for one deal. I have to deal with not one person but, also their sibling. I get caught in between sibling rivalries with each person expecting me to join their side. Howevah, I didn't have to do that this time. THANK GOODNESS. It turned out more pleasant than what I originally thought. I just hope that they keep this up a little longer. I like the silence of fighting.
-Paramore is a new found love of mine. <3
-As for boys, I'm keeping things slow. I don't want to get into any committed "things" with boys whom I'm not certain about. I've been getting mixed signals for the last month and a half and I still don't know what my final choice is. Also, I feel like I'm going in circles with everything. Remember, I give advice but I don't always use it. Mehh...

Anyways, I have nothing more to say.

Somethings Up, I Know It.

You know the deal.

-I now remember why I love Monday nights: Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. <3 Thank you for keeping me sane despite the fact that I'm usually a mess during Monday mornings.
-I love having the opportunity to leave campus right after 5th period. It's pretty... ugh... cool?
-College visitations! So, I basically had a one on one with Amherst's representative. I was one out of two people who went to the meeting today. I'm pretty excited about applying to East Coast colleges/universities but, I don't think that my mom is gonna be such a big fan of me wanting to go to a Liberal Arts college. meeehh...
-I knew I was too quick to judge. After my interviews with Yolanda, I feel like she's such an amazing person. My impression on her was that she was too blunt and nonetheless annoying. However, she's waaaay deeper and nicer than I thought. Her aspirations are so humble and honest that I WANT to help her with anything she wants to do. Ahh, I love staff profiles.
-The school year just started and I'm already sleep deprived. Oh maaan.

okay, this is short.

IRRITATED.

I hate how my dad does this every single time! I don't get it sometimes. My dad is home pretty much all the time, minus the time he takes when he runs errands. I don't understand how he forgets to pay the bills sometimes. It pissed the eff out of me. I don't have internet for the next three days because of his ass. He may not see it but, I need the internet. It's not for the sole use of social connections and sh!t like that but, I actually use it for work and school. It's really useful with the other things that I do in life and he seriously thinks that all I do online is go on Facebook. UGH. Now, I have to resort to paying 5 bucks every two hours to use the internet at Starbucks. But whatever, at least it gets me away from my dad for a bit. He just doesn't get it sometimes.

On the other hand, my last first day of high school has been completed. I'm still in awe at the fact that we're the oldest kids in school. It was a weird sight not seeing the class of 09 there. Nelieve or not, I really miss them. Anyways, the new Journalism staff is exciting me. I'm really looking forward to all the newbies along with our old staff. It's also pretty cool how Seniors take up half the class. Crazy right? Anyways, I gotta say this for my sake but, I don't know if I want to do Zero period concert choir. It wasn't necessarily a waste of my time but, I think we could have done so much more in that hour than we suspected. Also, Ms. Lee wants us to be in the choir room by 6:55. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!?! I really don't want to do something that will eat away at my sleep. Despite my chill schedule, I don't know how the work load is so waking up at 5:30 every effing morning isn't my kind of thing. UGH.

Anyways, I don't wanna kill my battery typing this thing.

Mixed Signals.

Here comes the bullet points:

  • I loved how today planned out. I pretty much hung out with a very unlikely group. It consisted of Susan T., Janki D., Christine M., Grace H., Josh K., and Kristina T. It's a RANDOM group of people that I would never see myself associating myself with at one time but, it was surprisingly fun. Susan, Christine, Grace, Janki, and I used to go to the same elementary school. Ever since then, we've had small hang outs such as tonight. However, I haven't hung out with them in what, 3 or 4 years? AND since they bumped into Josh and Kristina at Vons, they decided to join us. So, it was interesting for the most part. The converstions were unexpected, really. I got to listen to stories from all the different groups in my class. It's funny how things play out like that. We played a few rounds of DDR, watched Grace and Janki do a few cheer tricks, and basically hung out. You can say I'm looking forward to our next hang out. I just hope things stay as chill as it is now when school starts.... that's not likely. ahahaha.
  • It's really sad how I'm so addicted to Farmville. I think I should have mentioned this in earlier posts but seriously, I'm hooked on it. Ahhh, this is so lame. My addiction to Farmville happened at the WRONG time because school starts in a couple of days.
  • I hate my dad's logic sometimes. He thinks everything I do is somehow dangerous. Biking is considered dangerous under the right circumstances but! my dad is being really stupid. Biking to my aunt's house, which is 4 miles away is considered dangerous to him. He always thinks I'm gonna get raped or something. Now that I want to start biking to school because of my schedule, he says how there are so many cars that could hit me and so many people that could kidnap me. WHAT THE FCUK, RIGHT?! Ugh, I honestly don't understand him sometimes. I mean, he used to do this kind of sh!t when he was my age. I don't understand how it's any different. Is it because I'm a GIRL?! Ugh, so STUPID!
  • I've been getting a LOT of mixed signals. 'nuff said.
  • I don't want school to start! UGH. I feel like my summer's not complete! I want to live it up but seriously, I can't because there's only 4 days left!
  • DISNEYLAND on Monday! Homeboy is coming with me since everyone I asked, can't go! Ahhh, whatever. As long as I go and as long as my brother has fun is all that matters to me right now. ahahaha.
  • EGM's funeral is on Monday. I just noticed I have to miss it. Hopefully my parents tape it, in case it's being broadcasted.
  • I'm excited for the upcoming services. You have no idea how much I need a spiritual upliftment. It may sound a little superficial because I'm typing this up on a blog but, I just need to get it out there. I've been feeling a bit lost lately and I think I could do better. I feel like I don't give my all when it comes to performing. My duty comes first but when it comes around to it, I don't think i do my best. It's time for me to change that, in anyway that's possible for me.
this blog is waaaay longer than I expected. Kudos for those who actually read this whole thing.

"And Now I'm Crashing,

real bad, real bad, Michael Jackson."

-School starts in t-minus five days. I start Senior year in 5 days. Overall, my schedule is really chill. I'm taking AP Literature, Journalism, Econ/Gov, Computers, AP Stats, and Choir. I got to school at 7 and leave at 2. Sounds... fun? Meh..

-I don't know why I'm blogging right now but, Mr. Marciano made me realize a lot of things during our conversation tonight. It's really... eye opening for me. Consider it this way: I'm going to be taking a lot of risks from here on end. I just wonder how it'll be like when I have to overcome the consequences.

-Choir Camp was oddly fun. Besides the cheesy choreo, we sounded pretty good. I was off key a lot because I'm a newbie alto. I need to get my notes straight, that's why I'm sooo glad Percy is teaching us music theory in the INC choir. Oh, and we got our choir shirts today! Anyways, I'm starting to look forward to choir this year. [:

-Boy-wise: I don't know what the fcuk I'm doing right now. I think it's time to face the facts that I can't handle anyone's sh!t anymore. So, I'm just gonna do my own thing and do what's best for me, even if it ends up being single by the end of the year. Whatever, i'll get over it.

Sorry for the randomness of this blog.

The Series of Unexpectancy.

First and foremost, thank you for all of the love and sacrifice that you have done for me, for my family, and for the church... Thank you for being our guide through this wicked world. You will forevermore be missed. Until the day of his return, RIP.

Yesterday was completely and utterly, unexpected.

Here it is in a nutshell;
  • Slept over Jordan's house.
  • Talked for an hour and a half with Homebeeezy.
  • Played a few hardcore rounds of Tekken with Jacob and Jen.
  • Baked cookies at 2 am.
  • Played Hotel 626 on a packed queen size bed.
  • Watched Final Destination at 4 with Nicole, Alexa, Jordan, Jr, Jacob, Angelo, Jen, Fel Jay, and I.
  • Felt confused and tongue-tied.
  • Got ready for the beach/fishing trip at 5:30.
  • Watched everyone in the car fall asleep minus me and Jen.
  • Got to Redondo pier/beach at 8 so Tito Orly and Tito Ferdie can fish.
  • Went galavanting around Redondo.
  • Found a spot on the beach.
  • Got pulled away by Jordan and had an emotional yet revealing two hour conversation.
  • Enjoyed another 30 minutes by the beach.
  • Went back to check up on our fishermen.
  • Chilled by the arcade.
  • Left Redondo by 2ish.
  • Swam at Jordan's house at 4.
  • Chilled in the guest room, trying to figure out what to do. 7:24 pm <3
  • Left Jordan's house at 7:45.
  • Received THEEE COOLEST package from THEE COOLEST PERSON in the world, Gen Padua! <3
  • Spent the next three hours at home, falling asleep in front of my computer.

As of right now, I have a week before school starts. I need to grow me some confidence balls, finish up my summer reading, figure out what I want, start registration for CFO Night, and a whole lot more. This week is going to be hell week, wish me luck.

Realizing...

So I just looked back at about half of the posts that I put up from this month. They all have something if not more, about homeboy. Despite the fact that I told myself to talk to him as little as possible, I can't. I don't want to leave him without breaking any promises. So, I'm going to finish up what I've started and the break it to him once he starts school. Hopefully, I actually do it....

Besides that, hung out with Jensine aka Ned and Ally face yesterday. I think I turned out of be 5x more awkward than usual. I don't know why that happens to me. It's like being pushed onto a stage, in front of a crowd of people. I freeze up and my mind gets all jumbled. Sentences don't come out right, my palms start to sweat, and trying to be normal is virtually impossible. I really need to start being a little more outgoing. I feel like I'm always holding back from what I really want to do. Meh....

I have two books to read in a week. I CAN DO IT!

Anyways, I don't have much time to finish this.

1:43 A.M.

In my last blog, I said I was going to do something really ballsy. It ended up not happening. I shouldn't really be putting this up for everyone to read for the sole purpose of privacy but, I really don't give a flying fck right now.

Here's the story in a nutshell.

So remember homeboy? Well, I finally realized that I shouldn't be in this "thing" I have with him. We are at two different paces and I figured that it's best for him to remain single. I mean, if he really did like me, we'd probably be a bit farther in this little relationship of ours... Also, I didn't mind at first but, he talks an awful lot about his ex. It's not fair to me at all. I know that he's still pissed at her for what she's done to him but in all seriousness, he shouldn't even mention her around me anymore. I pushed it off at first but, it's gotten to the point where I'm sick of hearing it. To clear things up, he doesn't like her. He's just pissed about all of sh!t she's done to him ever since they broke up. Here's another thing, it was a ballsy move for him to drop the other girl he was talking to which, was pretty nice of him but, I still don't think I can do openness with this anymore. Last thing, he's not a member. If you didn't already know, I'm not allowed to date people who don't go to my church. It's a long story but, I follow the rules when it comes to this. So... I don't know.

I think I'm more annoyed at his choices rather than him. I really like him as a person but, he carries unnecessary baggage that I don't want to deal with. It's agreeable that I should move on. I just wish I could find the right time to tell him. I don't want to break our friendship but, it seems like it's the only choice I have..... I forgot to mention how I wish I did this sooner. The reason why is because he's asking for a lot of help from me. He comes to me for almost everything now. I don't just want to leave him hanging. meh. :/

Ugh, I need me some confidence balls right now and I need them quick.

Paranoid?

I have this feeling like someone's watching me when I'm inside my room.

For Zee Hell 'F Et.

"AND I WANT MY PINK SHIRT BACK! I WANT MY PINK SHIRT BACK!"
-Damien, Mean Girls <3

Accomplished. yes. Accomplished.

If anything, i'm sure that we've got Cal State LA in the bag. The facts say it all. I just hope that no one gets offended by this. It's just more affordable and reasonable. God first, remember? In all reality, we don't even need a celebration. It would be nice to have one but, I mean, it's not necessary at all. But, I'm not in charge of this program, I'm just in charge of the people going to the program. [:

Btw, although I have writer's block, I'm going to attempt to write a speech with HOPEFULLY, Charity. I hope that I pull through with a heart-splitting (not literally) speech. meeh...

Anyways, Go team Go!

Besides all of that, awkward instances keep coming up. It's not like I planned them. Anyways, Homeboy came over earlier. He just wanted to stop by for a few minutes to see what I was up to and all. I mean, we haven't seen each other since Saturday. :p Even though I didn't know he was coming until 5 minutes before he got here, I warned him about all the church people he was going to meet. I also warned him about how if he came here, the rest of the Anniversary crew would probably tease me about him being my boyfriend or something. (WHICH HE'S NOT, I assure you.) Despite the warnings, he still came and was open about meeting everyone. Although he was shy, it was completely understandable. If I were in his position, I'd probably be as shy. So, it's all good right?

Maybe I'm just saying this out of the spur of the moment but, I really like how things are turning out. I just need to make sure I watch my step every now and then to make sure that I don't get into any trouble because that's the farthest thing I want to happen.

Anyways, I'm sleeping over Jen's house and the best thing for me to do is to finish this blog NOW.

"I WANT MY PINK SHIRT BACK!"

-Damien, Mean Girls.

If I could describe to you how well things went today.....

-He picked me up around 3ish and took a while to figure out where to go "job hunting". Ended up at the Glendale Galleria so he could buy a new hat. Then, be bought some ice cream for us to share. After another 20 minutes of trying to figure out what to do, he decided to get his ears pierced. We drove around Wilshire and K-Town but, decided to grab some food. We went to Yoshinoya for a late lunch. We ended up sharing a plate and eating it at the back turn-around of school, while we were talking about college and the future. Afterward, he decided to get a haircut. (I'm telling you, this was all on impulse.) While he was getting his haircut, he made me wear his hat. [: After a good 20 minutes, we choose to just watch a few movies at my place. Instead of going straight to my place, we went to his house so he could use the bathroom. As I was waiting in his car, I made a few phone calls and figured out that we could have dinner with Kat, Mhy, Jen, Jules, Belle, and Ej at Guppys. When he came back to the car, he apologized for making me wait too long. I told him the plan about dinner and before we could leave, he decided to take me on a tour of his house. I've gotta say, it's pretty amazing. Tours = fun. [; THEN, we had to ask permission from his parents to leave. His dad was CHILL and let him go. We drove to Kat's house to wait for Kat, Mhy, and Jen to come home. Since they were taking forever, I took him on the hillside where they live. He loved it. <3 When they got home, I went with them back into the house while he waited outside. Going to Guppys, I thought we got lost because I wasn't used to taking the route Jules gave to Kat. So, I got us a little lost too. But after a quick phone call at the Chevron off the 405, we were back on track. We got to Guppys about 10 minutes later. Met up with my cousins and Ej 15 minutes after and had a sufficiently awkward time. Dinner went well, sort of. ahahaha. When my parents started calling up the ying yang, we ended up wrapping up dinner early. With three retards trailing behind us, we sped down the 405 to the 710, while giving directions to the others. When they couldn't keep up, we split. After getting gas, he dropped me off at home, completely ending my night well. <3

Ahhh, days couldn't get any better.

Cold Pillow

Dear Bullet Points,

-Theophilus London is BLOWING MY MIND. They're this indie band from NY that make the best music combinations EVER. It's like a mix of everything; hip-hop, trance, alternative, and rock. After hearing their "Always Love U", I fell in LOVE with them.

-Noisettes are AMAZING. Please, take the time to listen to them. They are their own kind of genre. It's pretty amazing how eclectic their sound is. [:

-Parents just don't understand. Here are the rules: 1) 11 o'clock curfew. 2) Within reason, I may push the boundary. 3) If with family, I have NO curfew. 4) If I am with an authorized adult, I may also stay out for as long as I want with the consent of my parents. THIS HAS BEEN THE RULES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. However, they don't always follow it. I had proof of being with an authorized adult and yet again, my parents still b!tched at me, even though I had the permission to stay out longer by the authorized adult. I don't find it fair when they tell me stories about their youth and how adventurous it was. Like fck, my dad didn't have a curfew when he was my age. He used to go out and sleep over other people's houses on a daily. I have proof of this because my grandma told me so. So, what makes it so different for me? I know I'm a girl but, one that knows how to take care of her own self and actually takes responsibility. Parents, please don't give me some whack reason to get mad at me, you're just stressing out yourselves. Thank you.

-I need a new facking phone already. It's ridiculous how bad my phone has gotten. It freezes every two days even when I turn it off as often as I can. Mehh....

-Things have been settled with my bestfriend. Thank the Lord for emotional breakdowns and fighting over the phone. It's always the cure to an unreasonable fight. (Unreasonable was on my part, really.)

-I've been heavily annoyed with a lot of people lately. I think it's just the foreshadowing of what's gonna happen to me within the next two weeks or so. I'm guessing it's PMS but, I'm not sure. I've been confused about countless things and I don't really know how to handle them. (I think I've overused the phrase "I'm not sure" and "I don't know".) I wish my feelings were a little more clear, despite the fact that I talked about my feelings during my last blog. ahahah. I hate uncertainty! MEEH!!!

-*WARNING: Consider this as a train of thought that you won't even understand. I say you stop reading now.* I'm getting desperate as time starts to wind down. Maybe I should wait a little longer? BUT, my patience is degrading. WHAT DO I DO?! Should I wait for you? I think I should state the fact that I'm ready to move on. THEN again, that might prove to be disastrous. FACK, I fcking hate uncertainty! I wish it were easier to read you! I don't like this at ALL....

Enlighten Me.

THIS WEEK = CRAZY MIX OF EMOTIONS.

-Nervous: I was pretty nervous taking my Senior Portraits yesterday. My photographer was EXTREMELY nice and funny I might add. When I got to see the outcome of some of the pictures he had taken, I felt like a doll, literally. It weird how a Nikon has the ability to enhance your looks. Anyways, we took a few different poses on different backdrops and after 25 minutes, I was done. My photographer was talking to me and Mhyrees (my hair stylist. LOL.) when he told me how it was like when he took his Senior Portraits a little more than 10 years ago. He told me it was the first step of being a Senior. I have to agree with him though. It's a scary thought but, i'll get over it.

-Happy: I've been genuinely happy lately. There has been so many significant moments this week to last me for the rest of the summer.

-Angry: I think all people know their limits, no matter how stubborn they may be. The only thing I can really say about this topic is, be careful with your actions because it could prove to be disastrous. Give in when appropriate and forfeit because sometimes the toughest of people need to give in to show their strength.

-Bittersweet: It's been a week of silence. My bestfriend is avoiding me. She's avoiding me because of the blog I posted up last Thursday night. Now, she refuses to answer any of my phone calls, IMs, and wall posts. Seems pathetic in my case that I have to confront her through all of this but, I have no other choice because she lives in Fresno. However, I do know that my part of this feud is my fault but, it's not my fault to the full extent. So, life goes on.

-Butterflies: So, how about them late night phone calls? So, how about them one on one hang outs? So, how about them Dodgers? hahaha. [;

-PMS????: Is that even an emotion? ahahaha. God's 6 day torture seems to be near again. I think that explains all the emotions I've been getting. Oh well. :p

-Besides emotions, I was looking at the list of blogs that have been drafted and posted. Half of that list is drafts that I never finished. I plan on writing blogs more often but, I always end up just saving it and then never touching it again. I'm telling you, it's the writers block! ]:

THE EPITOME OF EPIC.

So, it's 2:37 a.m. & I just got home from the BEST FRIGGEN CONCERT THIS SUMMER. I can't sleep because of the hype from this weekend, which doesn't just necessarily mean the concert. THIS weekend was ONE of the TOP highlights of the summer. Instead of using long explanations, i'll give them to you in picture form with short summaries. [:

WE WENT TO SEE THE NO DOUBT REUNION.
OUR GROUP: Ateh Ice, Laurie (she went last minute 'cuz ateh Michelle bailed), Kuya Geron Dale, Ateh kat, Ceejay, Ateh Joy (not pictured), and Ateh Lainey (not pictured).
Nikon was giving out free pictures. So we took one when we were heading to our seats. The first band to open for NO DOUBT (they deserve to be in caps lick) was The Sounds. I'm still pretty irked at the fact that they didn't play "Tony The Best". The next band to open for them was PARAMORE. They were pretty epic, I've gotta say. I just loved looking at all the little teeny boppers scrabbling around. I ended up buying a 15 dollar shirt but, could have gotten it for 10. (BOO.) Ateh Lainey and Ateh Joy ended up meeting us there when Paramore ended. AFTER THAT, NO MOTHER FCKING DOUBT CAME ON. They started off with "Spiderwebs". IT WAS AMAZING. Their set was OUTRAGEOUS. You can smell pot, booze, and excitment. (There is NO sarcasm in that statement.) THE MOOOST EPIC song of the night was "Just A Girl". (funny right?) The whole thing ended with "Sunday Morning" aka the BEST NO DOUBT SONG EVAAAR! (sorry this is long, I didn't intend it for it to be like this.) :D

1) My gayness of a cousin.
2) Ines + 3 Flores.
3) HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN, MY BESTFRIEND FOREVAAAH!
4) Jen the strange, Julius the videographer, and Jim the MIGHTY!
5) Carl ALBIN Octoman!!
6) IN LOVE with these guys. [;
7) LONG BEEZY and Jules' gayness.
8) BIRTHDAY GIRL KATRINA & my crap looking face! She throws shnazzy parties!

ahhhh, these are merely a GLIMPSE of what happened this weekend. I don't even have the right words to explain it right now.

On The Real...

-WHAT THE FCK AM I DOING?! This can prove to be disastrous if I continue this any further. I need to make up my mind.
-Last night is really hard to explain. I was so out of it, I don't think I was able to sleep until 5 or 6ish. That should explain the headache I had when I woke up this morning. GAH.
-I ran today. It felt good but, my rib cage felt like it was gonna burst. I even timed my two miles. It was 19 minutes and 38 seconds. Hopefully, I can boost that up to a lower time. [:
-I gotta get my act straight before I go nuts. School is in 5 weeks. I still have time.

BY THE WAY, can anyone help me?! When I try to follow people on blogspot, it WON'T LET ME. ALSO, I can't comment people's blogs. Blogspot, you are starting to frustrate me. ahaha.

If You're From Africa....

Why are you WHITE? ----- I just finished watching Mean Girls, that's why.

So here I am, Tuesday night, blogging. I'm pretty exhausted right now but, I am no where near the point where I want to go to bed. So... where to start? (yeah, here come the bullet points, betch.)

-San Jose/San Fransisco INC Excursion; Giving this weekend a 9/10. I'll give the spirituality 10/10 and the whole weekend an 8/10. So, my judgment is legit right? I'm just averaging this all out. SAN FRANSISCO. I don't know why but, I have this eagerness to move there. Probably apply to UCSF? Sunday's NorCal and SoCal mixer went well in my case. Met a lot of people and tried my best to be "social". I mean, I still had my awkward moments but, I'm learning to surpass those. Monday's practice/95th Anniversary Celebration was more than I expected. Having everyone (well, almost everyone) there in one place was truly a blessing to see. I heard that our choir of 2000+ was off the chain. (hehehe...) When the balloons and confetti started falling, I had butterflies in my stomach. It was such a proud and uplifting moment, you have NO idea. This was seriously a momentous event. I'm already excited for next year's gathering (if, there WILL be one). [:

-The Opposite Sex; Consider me confused. That's the easiest way I can put it. For further questions, leave a comment and i'll refer you to my cell phone number. :p

-I started on my Personal Statement. FCK my writer's block! I thought that blogging would stimulate some sort of creative juices but, I'm failing fast.

-I just spelled COFFEE five times in a row. It looks like I spelled it wrong but, I'm more than positive that I didn't. I think that it's weird. Spell TROPHY five times in a row and see what happens.

-My week/weekend looks hopeful. THURSDAY: Birthday gift shopping with _________. FRIDAY: ????. SATURDAY: Performing, practicing, Kat's 18th Birthday Bash. SUNDAY: CWS and Anniversary Meeting at Ateh Kat's and then NO MOTHER FCKING DOUBT at 7 in IRVINE! So hyped man, you have no IDEA.

-I'm starting to get some writer's block in writing this blog. I'm gonna end this NOW.

LaZzzzZzzy....

-OKAY, so it's 1:02 in the morning and I've already done my blog for the week.

Surprisingly, there won't be any bullet points for this blog. If anything, this is probably just gonna be a babble. I'm supposed to be packing because I'm leaving in t-minus 12 hours from RIGHT NOW. Can you say San Jose bound? Consider me excited BUT, not excited enough to be packing at this moment. Ahhhh... ohhhh.... I'm sleepy but, I can't sleep. I can't sleep until I pack. But then again, if I don't have the energy to pack, then I should sleep? I don't know. I'm listening to She & Him as of current. I love Zooey Deschanel because she's absolutely gorgeous and not to mention talented. I NEED TO WATCH 500 Days of Summer! Also for the fact that I used to be in LOVE with Joseph Gordon Levitt. He was the heartthrob back in the 90s. Now, he's just a cutie. Which reminds me where I first had a crush oh him. I'm pretty sure you've seen 10 Things I Hate About You (the movie, not the show). I LOVED how ridiculously quirky and awkward he was! AHHH, not to mention Heath Ledger's terrific performance when singing "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You". Which by the way, I was listening to earlier. ANYWAYS, I have an eagerness to watch the movie now! It's in my list of top 25 movies of the 90's. SO, yeaahhh... I wish I had a web cam. Not really to follow the trend because I know that everyone's been wanting to get one but, I really want it because I want to be able to friggen webcam with people! I mean, I get tired of JUST talking on the phone with someone. I like seeing people's reactions! ahahah. Okaay, I really don't know where I'm going with this. Btw, I think I have a growing bug bite located on the back of my thigh. BACK on point, I'm pretty excited for the weekend. Tomorrow I"m leaving for San Jose with a stop over in Frisco. THANK the Lord I bought film for my Holga! I've been DYING to use it! THEN on Sunday, I'm meeting family that I've neaver heard of before. ahaha. Sunday night seems to be the highlight of my weekend. The NorCal and SoCal mixer in San Jose looks like it's gonna be great! Okay, that sounds kinda cheesy. I'm just looking forward to meeting and re-connecting with old friends. THEN Monday is the BIG day. Choir practice from 9 am to 1 pm. It's going to KILL ME. We have to be back by 2:30. Afterwards, the service starts at 6. From there on, it's the spiritually that counts. Leaving Tuesday afternoon and there you have it. Everything looks pretty hopeful until the end of July. August actually looks great too! NO DOUBT on the 2nd! BTW, I performed three times this week! I LOVE being in the Adult's choir. It's totally different from what I expected. Hopefully, this feeling of mine doesn't wear off.

Last thing, I don't know what I'm feeling relationship wise. I mean, for sure I like the guy but, do I trust him? Confusing, yes. And to clear things up, I'm NOT in a relationship. I would delete my previous remark but I'm too lazy to reach for the backspace button. I'm on talking terms with him again. Hoopefully things work out? Ehhh.... I don't know. I don't want to doubt him before anything happens. I wanna hang out with him soon but since I'm busy until after August 2nd, I'm just going to have to wait until then . I hate waiting.....

OKAY, I'm now officially out of ideas.

Slightly Irked.

-SO, I've been checking my online banking account for the last two days. Since I requested to do direct deposit, they said that they'll be putting $250 in before Friday. TODAY is Friday. UGH. I don't want to bug them about it because I don't want to come off as rude and inconsiderate but, I REALLY need the money for this weekend! AHHHHH. Damn employers don't know how to act. -______-

-I've fallen head over heels with John Legend's Once Again album, AGAIN. [:

-God has graced me with my monthly gift. It's good to know that I have it but, WHY did it have to come NOW?! ahahaha.

-I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting college letters in the mail, especially from the top notch universities. I got some NYU stuff just a few minutes ago. Even though the possibility of getting into NYU is slim to none, I'm still applying.

-I'm packing right now for San Jose. Well, not necessarily packing. Rather, staring at which clothes to bring and what outfits to consider. ahhh, the heat's really getting to me.

-Shopping with Laurie and Leslie yesterday. THANK the Lord I found a top! After a rigorous search to find what to wear for Sunday, paid off. AND! I finally got to hang out with Laurie! I RARELY get to hang out with her now these days. I talked business with Leslie. She's trying to find a job. Hopefully, I can hook them BOTH up with jobs.

-After shopping with Laurie and Leslie, I met up with Katrina. SINCE I was dirt broke after buying that one top, we just chilled around Old Town. She practically made her birthday wish list. After a good hour and a half, we took the bus to Jen's house and chilled there until my parents picked us up and took us to her house.

-I haven't been getting much sleep lately. I've been sleeping around 2-4ish but then, I'd wake up at around 10:30 and I WOULDN'T be able to fall back asleep. Something's wrong with me!

-I don't know where I'm going with the rest of this.

As If You Didn't Know What I Was Going To Write About.

-I absolutely HATE the heat. It's been 92+ over the last week. I don't like the warm sticky bodies that linger around all the time. The only thing that creeps to mind is to avoid body contact. Then, I start to think about how awkward I would look, dodging bodies left and right. So then, I scratch the thought and just try to get over it. All in all, I hate the heat. Just stick me in a pool for the rest of the summer and we'll be done with it.

-I think my title as Cupid is faltering. That's all I have to say from here on end about that.

-After discovering Blue Dot Frozen Yogurt along Townsend and the awesome store owner, I've decided to become a regular even though Yogurt Haven will be opening in a matter of weeks. I like the chill vibe and the artsy fartsy ideas the manager kept throwing at us during our one hour stay in his store. I also love the people who came in and out of his yogurt joint. They had some kind of twinkle in their eyes, like kids entering a candy store. Besides, who can resist eating mochi? [:

-Tuesday; No words can rightfully describe what happened. Although, Santa Monica was fun. The 10 freeway = HELL in the form of an inanimate object. Taking sidestreet from Santa Monica back to Eagle Rock was entertaining BUT, awkward. I think the overall trip took an hour. We should have just stayed in Silverlake like we originally planned to. Oh well. I love spontaneous decisions.

-If anyone (and I mean ANYONE) can get me tickets to a FEIST or ADELE show (perhaps both?), I think I will be forevermore, your SLAVE. There is no sarcasm in that statement. I really mean it.

- Why is it that I haven't watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yet?! This would disappoint J.K. Rowling. She would probably hate me if she found out. What more Daniel Radcliffe and his greatness?! Crap. I need to watch this movie. After reading it TWICE within the last 6 months, I'm here, waiting until Saturday night to see it. Voldemort might as well just curse me with an Unforgivable Curse already.....

-I bought John Legend's Live From Philadelphia DVD. I'm FCKING EXCITED for it to come in the mail. [:

-Start work in two weeks. I kind of don't want to wait anymore though. I think I'm just gonna apply somewhere else and hope for a better salary. ahhh. -______-

okaaay, I'm getting tired of this whole blogging thing. [:
